NPOA 2005 MEETS EXPECTATION!

 

The 2nd presentation of Natural Products - Organic Asia (NPOA) 2005 and Health & Beauty Asia 2005 met market expectation of an international trade show of its kind. Held on the 28 to 30 June 2005, in Hall 4A, Singapore Expo, this 3-day exhibition had housed over 100 participating companies from over 10 countries/areas.

 

Exhibitors in this trade fair met with quality trade visitors, buyers and potential agents and distributors, gaining the presence needed in this industry. In addition, NPOA 2005 had established itself as an effective platform for many new organisations to penetrate into the Singapore ’s and Asian’s markets.

More than 30% of the NPOA 2005 exhibitors are already anticipating for the next staging. Exclaimed by Malee Jivarah, President of Tip Ubon International Co. Ltd, Bankok, “The exhibition is fabulous. Our company gets many interests from visitors both local and overseas. We wish to participate with you again.”

 

Visitors to the NPOA 2005 could not agree more on the success of this event. Many visitors have gained further in-depth knowledge of organic & natural products and realised the abundance of business opportunities that could be reaped from. Others have found new and unique products during the show to increase their brand holding. Numerous on-the spot deals and transactions were seen during the event.

 

 

 

 

In addition, this year’s seminar themed “Opportunities in the Global Market for Organic Food & Drink” which focused on the global market for organic food and drinks as well as highlighting on the business opportunities for Asian companies, had garnered full attendance. Industry experts were invited to discuss and share insights on topics such as “Unravelling Organic Standards”, “Going Organic – A Producers Perspective”, “Marketing Natural Products Internationally” and etc.

 

Stated by Amarjit Sahota, Director, Organic Monitor,”A good cross-section of speakers made the NPOA 2005 seminar and conference the most informative for organic & natural products in the South-East Asian region...The attendees found the talks educational yet pragmatic with speakers sharing their business experiences and offering sound advise.”

 

This International Exhibition & Conference for the Natural & Organic Products Industry and the International Exhibition for the Health & Beauty Industry saw Singapore leading with the largest pavilion, followed by Thailand , China and the USA .  All in all, over 100 participating companies had showcased a wide variety of products and services, such as natural health foods and beverages, organic foods and beverages, natural & organic ingredients, ecological products as well as personal care & beauty products.

 

Due to the success of this staging and the overwhelming demand from our exhibitors and visitors, NPOA show series will be coming back in year 2007. With a change to a more centralized location, Suntec Singapore , Hall 601, Natural Product Asia show series will no doubt grow in volume and strength. Expect more exhibitors’ participation from wider global regions in this up and coming event, which will be held on 28 – 30 June 2007, in concurrent with Health and Beauty Asia 2007.
