Descripción : Our business started in the Apricot orchards owned by our founder Niyazi Memur in Malatya, Turkey in1985.
In those years, Mr. Memur was very keen to export their delicious, nutritious fruits to other countries. This passion has led him to become an entrepreneur in organic production. Niyazi Memur was the first Turkish organic agriculture investor in Turkey.
Due to his devotion in organic production and processing, Nimeks has grown into a group of companies exporting more than 45 products to 40 different countries.

The surface of the vineyard is of an ideal size to control the quality of the vines in accordance with organic agriculture certified ECOCERT. After 3 years of conversion, Château Grand Français received its Organic Agriculture accreditation in 2002.
No weedkiller or chemical treatments are ever used, only products permitted for organic certification are allowed.
5oo years of History
The name Grand Français comes from the occupation of Aquitaine by the English in the 14th century, during which time one of my distant ancestors distinguished himself probably by asserting the rights of the French Kingdom.
The winemaking cellars are adjoining the castle, and the vineyard is on a red gravel terroir where vines have been cultivated since the 15th century.
In days gone by, the Château Grand Français was a haven of peace and serenity, surrounded by 600 hectares of vineyards and farmland. Mixing cereals and vines, Grand Français traversed the centuries. Another time, another place...
My family did everything to keep the estate. It has been handed down from generation to generation to today.
As early as 1906, Château Grand Français was singled out for the excellent health condition of its vineyards and received the Medal of Agricultural Merit.
The harvest is done manually, each grape is chosen on the vine. A low yield for optimal quality.

Organic Commodities Pty Ltd was started in Sydney by Mark Visser in 2003.
Mark commenced his career in Amsterdam, Holland in 1980 as a trainee commodity trader with a large trading house. He has worked in 7 countries – born and raised in Australia – Mark speaks English, Dutch and German.
Over the years he has traded physical commodities ranging from wheat and wheat flour, to pulses, sugar, milk powder, soya and soy products to amaranth and quinoa. Mark consults to some of Australia’s largest grain and cotton producers. His depth of experience across so many commodities has been a key feature attracting farming operations, processors and end users to use the services of Organic Commodities. He hold a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the University of New England.
The company employs a diverse range of people indirectly through outsourcing functions such as accounting, freight, logistics, sales and marketing.
All outsourcing of marketing and sales functions is done on a profit sharing basis. The business model we currently employ does not support a typical salaried corporate structure … but rather a rewards structure based on a fair and equitable split of profit margins.
