The bissap juice, made from the hibiscus flower, is a refreshing and slightly acidic drink, typical of African countries.
There are more than 100 kinds of hibiscus flowers, Talina uses the Sabdariffa hibiscus (chabadabada, chabadabada), also nicknamed sun flower. This natural and delicious plant is also known for its benefits:
It improves blood circulation: regulates blood pressure, fights hypertension and reduces the risk of cardiovascular events and heart attacks.
It gives energy: rich in vitamin C and trace elements.
It promotes digestion: its trace element content helps the proliferation of good bacteria essential for the digestive system.
A Belgian and organic brand
Talina is a 100% Belgian brand, certified organic, produced in a Working Company Adapted from the region of Liège, with ingredients from fair trade.
Eva and Jules, a belgian-senegalese couple, have been working in their catering and catering company since 2015. During the events, guests enjoyed the hibiscus flower drink they offered. Not found in Belgium, they both decide to create Talina (mix of their two daughters: Talia and Lina).
The raw materials are organic (water, organic dried hibiscus flower, organic cane sugar, 100% natural flavors), the drink does not contain preservatives and is stabilized by high pressure (HPP) to preserve the best taste, vitamins and nutritional values.
Talina supports organic hibiscus flower growers' cooperatives in Senegal, which through their initiatives are working with several women's groups. They grow hibiscus flowers and sell their crops at the right price through the cooperative.

Samples available for testing in South Africa and Europe. Dispatch to other areas can be arranged. Up to 100.000 bottles can be produced p.a.
- Fully organic wine: Wine from organic grapes, produced without any sulphur or other additives, fully natural. We have produced 300 bottles of the 2018 fully organic Merlot as samples for tasting. International dispatch can be arranged at request. We can produce up to 50.000 bottles of this wine by order.
- Organic bulk wine: Up to 100.000 litres
- Organic grapes: Up to 150 tonnes
