Was founded by the Martinez family after working in the South American food industry since the 1970’s. Beginning as Sugar Cane Distributors, the Martinez family came to Los Angeles where they soon realized a demand for the natural produce they grew up with in Colombia. With this demand in mind we decided to establish GAT in Los Angeles in 2007.
Starting GAT as a full service import and export company in Los Angeles, GAT’s founder, Robinson Martinez, realized the importance of providing the freshest exotic products available on the market. Description : The origin of Morarka Foundation’s field activities from Nawalgarh, a semi-arid region on the periphery of the Thar Desert in India, has been a blessing in disguise. Extreme climates, very high temperatures, less than 500mm annual rainfall with only about 20 rainy days in a year, undulating lands, sandy soils and very little water for irrigation offered perfect conditions for testing the new technologies and methodologies for organic management. Anything which could succeed here would have a very high success potential elsewhere, and this has been amply evident in the overall success achieved in last 10 years. Beginning with just about 500 farmers about 10 years ago, today there are now over 1,00,000 farmers spread all over India cultivating over 2,50,000 acres land under organic management. These farmers are producing over 300 different crops, out of which over 100 crops have already been brought under the organic value chain management.

Description : En el año 2017 se constituye esta pequeña empresa familiar en Campohermoso, apostando en todo momento por una producción propia que hoy en día sigue creciendo de manera constante, sostenida y al alza.
Se empezó con una producción de 4.5 hectáreas siendo el calabacín el producto elegido debido a la climatología dada en esta zona tan acorde a esta hortaliza. Dos años después se decide ampliar a 7.5 hectáreas, ubicadas en esta misma zona.
Y de dos en dos años seguimos, ampliando a 11.5 hectáreas, pero esta vez apostando por una finca que se sitúa en La Cañada, a 300 metros del mar. En todo momento nos hemos querido decantar por un producto 100% ecológico, de calidad y con buen sabor.
