The Organic Market consolidates and keeps the pace at Sana

Milan, September 13, 2005– The organic sector holds and the Health and Environment areas convey positive signs. These are the trends observed at SANA 2005.

The exhibitors are satisfied about the attendance of more qualified visitors and an increase in the number of Press representatives.

The product sectors were more clearly defined as a result of a logical review of the exhibiting layout; strict checks were carried out on the products on display in the Nutrition sector. Many orders and important negotiations were performed by the exhibitors at the fair and several business contacts occurred on Thursday, the opening day, as well.

SANA is confirmed as the business, cultural, and media engine of Natural and environment-friendly products, gaining the unprecedented attention of the Institutions and authorities, as well as of the national Press and TV networks.

A slight decline in the attendance of foreign operators was registered, due to the international economic challenges and to the difficulty to obtain the necessary visas in non-EU Countries. Profitable meetings took place between the exhibitors and the foreign operators from Poland, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Canada, the US, Japan, and Taiwan, invited by SANA and ICE-Istituto nazionale per il Commercio Estero.
