BioFach International Wine Award 2007

A new record: 1,129 wines from 294 winegrowers from 13 countries faced the sensitive sense organs of the expert jury on the last weekend of November to compete for the coveted BioFach International Wine Award 2007. The tasting team of 43 oenologists, catering experts and wine merchants were impressed by the quality and awarded 10 “Special Gold”, 66 Gold and 151 silver medals. 263 wines received a recommendation. Whereas the white wines were marked by 2004 and 2005 vintages, the red wines were still mainly characterized by the 2003 vintage of the century.
